PhotoCoach is operated by NovaVia Tech Limited. This notice describes the current 0.8.1 development build.

Photos and camera processing

The app uses the camera to take photographs and analyse framing, faces and body poses on your device. You can select reference images through the system photo picker. Captured photographs and related app records are stored locally in the app. PhotoCoach does not provide a photo-upload service or a user account.

When you choose to export, or enable automatic export, the app asks for permission to add photographs to your system photo library. Your device’s Photos, iCloud and backup settings may then affect where those copies are stored. Those system services operate separately from PhotoCoach.

Optional voice controls

Voice shutter controls require microphone and speech-recognition permission. The current app requires on-device Mandarin recognition and offers the screen shutter when that recognition is unavailable. It does not send recordings to a PhotoCoach server. Spoken coaching and sound cues are played from resources included in the app.

Local diagnostics

Test diagnostics are off by default. If you enable them, the app can write local records including timestamps, capture and guidance events, selected reference names, pose-joint coordinates, confidence values and performance information. These files are not uploaded automatically. You can choose to share a diagnostic file through the system share sheet.

Turning diagnostics off stops further logging; it does not automatically remove older files. Local photographs, reference records and diagnostic files remain in the app’s storage until removed. Copies exported to Photos or another destination are managed separately.

Tracking and third-party services

The current app does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. No PhotoCoach-operated server receives your photos, pose analysis, recordings or diagnostic files automatically. This notice does not describe Apple’s own App Store, TestFlight, iCloud or operating-system processing.

Permissions and your choices

You can review and revoke camera, microphone, speech and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will stop working without their required permission. You control what you export or share and which destination receives it.

Email support@novavia.studio for product privacy questions or requests about correspondence you have sent us. Messages and attachments you choose to email are processed by the studio and its email providers to handle your enquiry. We cannot retrieve app-local photographs or logs unless you choose to send them.
