Inside PhotoCoach

A closer look at the app.

01

Bring a reference

Choose one of three built-in starting points — street, window or park — or import your own image.

02

Find the framing

Use a translucent reference overlay and pose guidance to help place your subject in the picture.

03

Shoot together. Or solo.

Switch between assisted and solo modes to suit who is holding the phone.

04

One moment, a few chances

Choose a single shot, a three-shot sequence or a five-shot sequence from the shutter controls.

05

Let your voice take the shot

Optional short Mandarin voice commands trigger a single shot, a sequence or a stop command.

06

Review before you export

Browse your photos in the app, choose the ones you want and export them to Photos.

Pick a starting point

Three ways to begin.

Built-in reference content for a street portrait, a seat by the window or a moment in the park. You can bring your own image, too.

Built-in street standing reference
Street · Leave room around the pose
Built-in window seated reference
Window · Follow the side light
Built-in park raised-arm reference
Park · Give your hands something to do

Images shown are the app’s generated starter-reference content, not captured-photo results.
