RedNote Framer privacy.

RedNote Framer is operated by NovaVia Tech Limited. This notice describes the current 1.0 development build.

Your photographs and edits

You choose photographs through the system Photos picker or Files importer. The app reads image and available EXIF information, such as camera and exposure details, to prepare your composition. Processing and JPEG rendering take place on your device.

The app keeps a local copy of the selected original and your edit state so you can restore your current work. That working copy is excluded from the app’s iCloud backup. The selected source file is not edited by the app. The app’s clear-work control removes its working copy and recent output; it does not remove the original from Photos or Files.

Saving and sharing

Saving a finished JPEG requests permission to add it to your system photo library. Sharing opens the system share sheet so you can choose the recipient or destination. The exported image is encoded as a new canvas; the app does not copy the original EXIF or GPS metadata into that JPEG.

Copies you save to Photos, Files, iCloud or another app are subject to that destination’s settings and practices. Clearing work inside RedNote Framer does not delete copies you exported elsewhere.

Permissions and tracking

The current app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location. It uses the system pickers for files you select and asks for photo-library write permission when saving. You can change Photos access in iOS Settings.

The current app has no user account, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs, and no app-operated upload service. Your photographs and edit records are not automatically sent to NovaVia Tech Limited. Apple’s App Store, TestFlight and system services operate under their own practices.
